The images refer to the meetings held by the representative of Gaindegia with the representatives of the main institutions of the Basque Country. We must say that in relation to Gaindegia, although it has been a milestone in our history, an Institutional Committee for Follow-up has been created, currently made up of representatives of the two governments of the peninsula, Pamplona and Gasteiz, as well as the College of the Basque Country on the mainland and the representatives of the three southern provincial governments (Araba, Bizkaia and Gipuzkoa). The function of this Committee, called "Summit" in the observatory's internal name, is to evaluate the work of the Observatory every six months, as well as to contribute to its financial support. Called Always Gaindegia, the first was held at the Europa Palace in Gasteiz and the second at the Julio Urkixo Hall of the Provincial Council of Gipuzkoa.
Representatives of the Basque Government and the three counties were present at the April meeting. In November, Mikel Irujo, councilor of the Department of Industry and Ecological and Digital Transition of the Government of Navarre, and Joseba Erremundeguy, responsible for Cross-Border Cooperation within the Association of the Basque Country, joined the committee. technical.
The rest of the institutional representation is made up of: Asier Aranbarri, advisor to the Presidency of the Basque Government of the General Secretariat of Social Transition and the 2030 Agenda; Eduardo Aguinaco, Head of the Cabinet of the High Commissioner of Álava; Ainara Basurko, provincial deputy for Economic Promotion of Bizkaia, and Iker Estensoro, head of the Cabinet of the Chief Deputy of Gipuzkoa.
